blind windows

Final graduation. February 2018. Exhibition view. 20 from the original Pinakothek’s glas panes I replaced in july 2017 in the classroom were finally taken down from the window’s frames and hung on the walls of the exhibition space.  I did rebuild two full windows on the walls keeping the same high and same proportions as the classroom’s windows. The infrared glue from the original glass panes of the museum kept on runing inside the double glazing, moving imperceptibly their surrealistic drawings. The transparent drawings were that time clearly revealed by contrast on the white walls.

The first intervention was an “institutional swap” using a ready made ( the original Pinakothek windows) only re-located.

The second intervention was a “ready made assisté”, plastically leaded in the glass studio from the art academy and exhibited in the public main hall from the art academy.
