BEYOND OUR BODIES
An autofiction written and performed in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, April-July 2024.
This series was produced as part of my ‘Intermix’ residency, invited by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Fashion Commission.
A series of preparatory performances, sculptures and costumes were made daily for a final performance in the desert. Between night and sunrise, a black angel spreads its wings to collect skins.
The film of that body of work lasts 1:40. It was presented during the open studios of the Intermix residency, a programm from Hafez Gallery, Riyadh, in July 2024. Extract coming soon on the website.
